Billing Specialist
Houston, TX - Hybrid Schedule (partially work from home partially onsite)
6 Months
Shift: 8a-5p daily, M-F. (Weekends and Holidays required if they fall on the last day of the month)
PAY: $20/hr

Need to be able to validate tickets before invoicing by matching up with quote,
purchase order, Ecatalog or contract as well as confirming if customer is tax exempt.

Use Job Center for closing out jobs and collecting back up paperwork needed when submitting invoices to customers.
Collaborating with Operation Coordinators on tickets missing information to bill, shipped not billed tickets, and Open order reports.

Collaborating with account managers/Sales for signed tickets and approvals to bill.
Engage in team meetings as required.
Be involved in any small projects that come up that pertain to billing.

Responsibilities:
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Detailed oriented.
Good analytical skills.
Ability to organize work and prioritize.
SAP knowledge a plus.
Work well in firm deadline environment.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint a plus. Knowledge of EDI invoice processing a plus.

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree preferred.
Entry level or 1+ year experience in accounting or finance a plus.
