is a 2nd Shift position: Monday – Thursday 3:30 pm – 2:00 am Job
Summary: As an Aircraft Engine Inspector, you will support either
the Columbus Engine Center (CEC) or the Military Engine Center of
Excellence (MECoE). In this role, you will perform detailed
inspections of turbine engines, engine modules, and components to
ensure compliance with approved technical data, published work
instructions, and quality standards. What You Will Do: Use a
variety of tooling and precision measurement equipment to inspect
engine components and validate proper configuration. Provide
complete and accurate documentation to support engine assembly and
maintenance. Meet production and inspection goals for the facility.
Complete and review technical documentation, including Fits and
Clearances, Engine Inspection Reports (EIR), and SAP records.
Review engine package documentation to ensure accuracy and
compliance. Support a team-based environment focused on continuous
improvement and operational excellence. Qualifications You Must
Have: High School Diploma or GED equivalent 1 years’ experience in
an aviation inspection role, or equivalent experience as an
Aircraft Engine Mechanic, demonstrating the ability to perform
detailed engine inspections. Qualifications We Value: Airframe &
Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate. 2 years
of relevant aviation inspection experience. Turbine engine
overhaul, inspection, and repair experience, including proficiency
with precision measuring tools; experience preferred in one or more
of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly.
Strong ability to identify and resolve configuration and
compatibility issues. Familiarity with continuous improvement
methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or RTX’s CORE Operating
System. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
