defense. What You Will Do: We have an opportunity for a Material
Control Lab (MCL) Quality Technical Team Member to be based in
Columbus, GA. (onsite role). Mechanical inspection and testing
Perform daily walk arounds to prior to testing Receive-in and
inspect testing specimens for accuracy Sort priorities as needed
Operate multiple machines for Specimen testing Comply with all
training required, including Quality procedures as well as MCL
Manuals and Standard Work. Log testing data in UGA Maintain
required logbooks. Perform 6s each shift Engage in process
optimization to allow success of production/quality goals while
achieving and maintaining cost savings Complete all training within
the expected time given Second weekend shift is : Fri-Sun 7pm-7am
Qualifications You Must Have: High School Diploma or GED At least
one (1) year of related experience Must be willing to work the
scheduled shift and may need to train on an alternate shift.
Overtime may be required. Familiar with blueprints. Qualifications
We Value: Two to five years’ experience in quality/aerospace
manufacturing environment. Technical 2-year degree or relevant
certifications are preferred. Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS
PowerPoint, and quality procedures. Understanding of internal and
external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in
resolving findings. Good organizational skills. What We Offer:
