Job Description:
Description Responsible for the planning, coordination, and
project management of major maintenance activities including engine
overhauls, compressor overhauls, engine swings, unit mobilization,
and unit demobilization. Ensures the efficient project management
of all major maintenance activities within their assigned area
including pre-job planning and post-job closeout. Works closely
with Service Managers, Operations Directors, Business Unit Vice
Presidents, third party contractors, and, when needed, customers to
optimize labor, materials, and schedules ensuring that major
maintenance activities meet Archrock’s safety, financial, and
operational targets. Responsibilities Essential Duties: Develop and
maintain detailed work scopes, schedules, and resource plans for
major maintenance activities within their assigned area. Ensure
that Service Requests (SR’s) for major maintenance activities are
initiated, managed, and processed in a timely manner. Plan and
procure necessary parts, tooling, and 3rd party support equipment
to support scheduled major maintenance activities. Assist go to
market activities for 3rd party resources and provide
administrative oversight of 3rd parties including schedule
coordination, adherence to Service Level Agreements, and pursuing
warranty claims. Coordinates with BU personnel to align workforce
availability, scheduling, and project execution. Collaborate with
Supply Chain, Transportation, and the Swing Engine Team to ensure
timely delivery of required parts and materials. Oversees core
return process and monitors core credits to ensure they are applied
correctly for all major maintenance activities. Track and report
project progress, costs, and other Key Performance Indicators to
management. Manages annual budget and implements operational
standards and processes. Non-Essential Duties: Performs other
duties as assigned. All employees shall be in compliance with the

statutory and/or regulatory requirements at all times.
Qualifications Skills and Abilities: Ability to: Perform all
essential duties. Champion service quality, health, safety,
environmental policies, standards and process improvement.
Demonstrate strong project management, labor planning and
scheduling, and process / change management skills. Effectively
coordinate deployment of equipment, materials, and personnel to
major maintenance job sites. Demonstrate effective written and
verbal communication skills. Negotiate commercial terms with 3rd
party contractors. Exhibit strong customer service, interpersonal,
negotiation, coaching and leadership skills. Participate in regular
management reviews of operational measures and corrective actions,
evaluate against benchmarks, and develop, communicate and execute
action plans for improvement. Manage annual budget and implement
operational standards and processes. Proficient with: Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI etc.) and PC
Skills Archrock Field Mobile (AFM) Enbase Telematics Suite
Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of Field Service operations.
Knowledge of service operations administration, procedures,
budgets, planning, scheduling, equipment, and personnel
requirements. Understanding of project management principles and
best practices. Understanding of financial implications of
decisions. Thorough knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and
regulations. Fully understands customer’s production facilities and
equipment. Working knowledge of engine and compressor equipment
used in the area. Minimum Education and Certification: High school
diploma or equivalent (required), Associates degree / technical
degree preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification preferred. Valid driver's license and a good driving
record. Minimum Experience: Experience in field operations, either
as a field technician or in a field operations management role,
with hands-on knowledge of operational processes, equipment, and
best practices. Demonstrated history of successfully managing
multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Leadership: Coordinates
schedule across multiple priorities in order to ensure task
completion. Able to lead through influence and coordination to
accomplish major maintenance tasks. Develops strong relationships
with BU personnel including Field Supervisors, Service Managers,
Operations Directors, and BU Vice Presidents and able to manage
through interpersonal conflicts. Problem solving skills to achieve
resolution to conflicts related to operational priorities and
project resourcing. Develops, implements, manages, and communicates
work standards and performance metrics for major maintenance
activities. Physical Demands: (Reasonable accommodations may be

performed. Must meet the medical requirements necessary to wear PPE
(includes respiratory protection medical requirements) as required
by role. Frequently required to display good manual dexterity and
to reach with hands and arms. Constantly required to talk and hear.
Frequently required to sit while driving or using a PC. Frequently
required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, and twist with good
balance. Occasionally required to lift, move and carry up to 50
pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds. Occasionally required
to carry at least 40 pounds with one hand for at least 10 feet.
Occasionally required to crawl, climb in and around equipment,
stairs and vertical ladders. Vision abilities include close vision,
distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Problem Solving and Innovation: Analyzes maintenance and budget
performance data on an on-going basis and develops recovery plans
as needed. Finds immediate solutions to prevent escalation and
solutions to resolve conflicts. Implements preventative and
corrective actions in a timely manner. Expected to identify
opportunities, provide ideas, methods and innovations, and to
implement improvements to enhance safety, teamwork, efficiency and
quality. Impact: Full responsibility and impact on planning,
scheduling, and procedural changes for major maintenance
activities. Accountable for adherence to major maintenance budget
and schedule. Supports service area HSE performance, service
quality, and customer satisfaction. Assists with preparation of the
major maintenance budget for assigned area, manages to budget and
