Job Summary:

Streamline is seeking an Account Manager. The Account Manager is responsible for sales and developing long-term customer relations. Responsible for client communications, developing, submitting, and following technical and commercial proposals, working with the Applications team to follow and close the order. Account development and maintenance will be a primary responsibility. Work within a team environment in a respectful and professional manner with fellow employees, management, and clients.

Job Duties:
Client communication, both technical and commercial
Clarify quotation items and answer all client questions
Travel as required to sell projects and to develop and maintain client relationships
Negotiate with the client and work with Chief Commercial Officer to close the order
Attend project Kick-Off meetings when available
Attend weekly meetings and provide status of open quotations and assigned future projects
Work to complete quotations or to meet project deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction
Make technical sales presentations to clients to develop opportunities (i.e., Lunch & Learns)
Business development and new account development
Develop and manage accounts

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, a related field or equivalent experience preferred
5-year minimum technical sales experience is required
Excellent organizational skills preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills preferred
Strong interpersonal communication skills preferred
Superior time management skills preferred
Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities preferred
Ability to work independently with little direct supervision preferred
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills preferred
Ability to negotiate preferred
Prioritizing and handling multiple tasks preferred
Ability to grasp mechanical and some chemical technologies related to specialty products preferred
Strong knowledge of software including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word preferred
CRM experience preferred
Valid driver's license and proof of insurability required
Work authorization in the United States required
Must be able to push, pull, and lift a 50lbs or more at a time required
Able to pass a hair follicle drug test, alcohol, driving, physical, and background check required
Ability to travel up to 20% of the year required
