Job Description:
A leading critical access hospital located in west Texas is now
seeking an experienced Hospital Business Office Director to join
their award-winning healthcare team.
This critical access facility boasts 20 inpatient beds and offers a
full spectrum of acute care services. For nearly a century, this
organization has offered exceptional patient care services in a
welcoming and safe environment. This location currently offers a
number of services including cardiovascular, emergency, imaging and
laboratory, surgical, respiratory, and rehabilitation services.
Reporting to hospital Administration, the Hospital Business Office
Director is responsible for overseeing all financial, registration,
billing, and collection operations for the critical access
hospital. This role ensures the financial health of the hospital
through efficient management of revenue cycle functions, compliance
with regulations, and strategic financial planning. Daily
responsibilities include policy and procedure development,
implements strategies to optimize revenue, works to enhance
collections, monitor payer performance, manage third-party payer
relations, generate financial reports and analyze trends, oversee
the use of healthcare IT systems, coordinate financial counseling
services, and advises on capital investments, service line
profitability, and cost management strategies.
What's Needed to Succeed:
Degree in business administration, health administration, or
related field
Progressive leadership experience in a healthcare setting
Expert knowledge of revenue cycle management and healthcare
finance
