(RN) - to join our team! -This position will support - the Midland
location with occassional travel to Odessa. This is a full-time
Monday-Friday position with no weekends, call, or major holidays.

What does the -Oncology -Nurse Supervisor -do?
Coordinates all activities related to nursing functions and patient
care, within budgetary constraints. Adheres to national and company
standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Supervises
nursing staff that provides professional nursing care to patients.
- Must recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of
care. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program,
to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
The essential -duties and -responsibilities:
Oversees the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support
Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics
Maintains effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs for
the practice and/or satellites within budgetary parameters.
Ensure clinical operations and practice consistent with
Monitors and evaluates patient satisfaction and quality assurance
Coordinates, implements, and assists with staff training,
in-services, and internal developmental programs for nursing
Assists with annual performance evaluations for nursing department
Serves as mentor/preceptor and provides day to day guidance to less

The ideal candidate -for the -Oncology Nurse Supervisor -will have
the following background and experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN
RN state license and current registration with the State Board of
Nursing in practicing state.
Current CPR certification required.
Minimum two years actively practicing as a registered nurse.
One years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Current or pending oncology certification preferred.
