Registered Nurse - RN - Correctional Facility CareerStaff Unlimited is looking to hire an experienced Registered Nurse - RN - Correctional Facility within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Qualified candidates will have a strong focus on patient care and have the flexibility for all shifts including weekends and holidays. Local and travel candidates will be considered!. • Shift Time: 5am-5pm
• Typically on a 3 on, 2 off rotation
• Housing Included! Weekly Estimated Pay: $1817Weekly Taxable Pay: $1404Weekly Housing Stipend: N/A ProvidedWeekly Meal Stipend: $413 *Rates may vary based on stipend needs JOB DETAILS FOR RN REGISTERED NURSE - CORRECTIONAL FACILITY:
• Provide a basic level of general nursing care to forensic clients, patients or inmates with mental, emotional or developmental disabilities
• Provide care under the clinical direction of a registered nurse or physician
• The ability to easily integrate into new settings
• Knowledge of various computer systems
• A desire to expand nursing skill set or varied experience LICENSURE CREDENTIALS REQUIRED FOR THE RN REGISTERED NURSE:
• Valid Texas/Compact REGISTERED NURSE - RN
• 1 year of RN Med-Surg, ER or Correctional experience.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
