Job Description:
This position is dependent on volume and staffing needs for the
provision of patient care and will work on as a needed basis.
A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who delivers
care to the patient needing wound care through the nursing process
of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and
re-evaluation. Will possess knowledge of accepted nursing standards
and practice and knowledge of basic wound care. Will provide
patient care in accordance with MVRMC policies and procedures.
Expected to provide a positive image of MVRMC and to be able to
communicate effectively with patients, peers, physicians and
visitors. This position works in the Wound Care Department and
treats patients in the acute and outpatient settings.
Education:
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
(RN)
Experience:
--- Able to demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care
appropriate to the age of the patients served
--- Preferred: At least one (1) years of experience in Wound
Care.
Required:
Required: Current licensure in professional nursing from the New
Mexico State Board of Nursing or compact RN license Required:
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Due by close of business on the
last day of the month after one (1) full month of work.
