A-Line Staffing is now hiring an LVN/LPN – Direct Care/Medication Room in Carlsbad TX ! The LVN/LPN will be working at the San Angelo State Supported Living Center and has career growth potential. See additional details below. LVN/LPN – Direct Care/Medication Room Highlights The pay for this position is $37.48 per hour. Shifts available: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM and 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM 40 hours/week; Monday – Friday for the first 4 weeks, then rotating schedule with every third weekend off First 4 weeks will be 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM for training (includes unpaid lunch break) This position is onsite This is a 6-month (26-week) contract assignment Responsibilities Safely administer medications in accordance with state policies and procedures Perform initial and follow-up assessments for acute injuries or healthcare needs Assist with TB testing, COVID-19 testing/boosters, and seasonal vaccinations such as Influenza Document all assessments and assist case management in implementing and monitoring healthcare plans Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Chief Nurse Executive and RN Supervisors Requirements Active and valid LVN/LPN license with eligibility to practice in Texas Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred Experience in settings such as acute care hospitals, LTC, community clinics, or public health required Knowledge of dual diagnosis and behavioral challenges is a plus Must provide a valid photo ID and current AHA CPR certification Must have negative PPD results within the last 12 months Must provide COVID-19 vaccination documentation (if applicable) Must pass a urine drug screen and standard background check (you provide) Must successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check (provided by the facility) No additional time off during Christmas and New Year’s holidays Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
