preferred. Will consider a minimum of 13 weeks. RN will rotate
through triage, antepartum, labor, and circulation. No postpartum
care is included. Patient ratios for day shifts are set at 2. The
daily census can fluctuate with approximately 20 visits per day.
The unit accommodates neonates, infants, and adults. Requires
skills in administration of blood products, antepartum care, and
high-risk delivery assistance. Experience in labor and delivery
methodologies is essential. Familiarity with fetal heart monitoring
and sterile vaginal exams is necessary. Certification in advanced
AWHONN is a plus. The role involves support for breastfeeding and
high-risk antepartum patients. Knowledge of pain assessment and
management techniques is required. The candidate should be adept at
starting and maintaining IVs and using infusion pumps. Ability to
perform NST and manage multiple births is desired. The nurse will
assist with cesarean sections and recovery care. Flexibility for
holiday coverage and weekend shifts is expected.
