Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Med Surg/ER) – Illinois Start Date: January 29, 2026 Location: Eldorado, Illinois Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Block scheduling available with 6 consecutive shifts if desired; weekend shifts required; 5:1 patient ratio Highlights: Dual-unit opportunity covering both Med Surg and Emergency Department Flexible block scheduling option for consecutive shift assignments Onsite lodging provided for travelers commuting more than 45 miles EMR systems include Centriq (inpatient) and T-Systems (ER), transitioning to Meditech in May Manageable 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio Weekend rotation required as part of schedule Requirements: Active RN license in good standing ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required Med Surg and/or Emergency Department experience preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This versatile position allows you to utilize your skills across both medical-surgical and emergency care settings, offering variety and professional growth.
