Job Description Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care | 13-Week Contract | San Angelo, TX Start Date: 01/12/2026 Shift: Day Shift, 5x8s (08:00–17:00) Contract Length: 13 weeks About the Role: We are seeking skilled Physical Therapists for an acute care setting serving adult and geriatric patients. This role includes working across multiple therapy environments, including Acute Care, Outpatient, Rehab Hospital, and SNF. First-time travelers are welcome if you have prior acute care clinical rotation experience and are comfortable in an acute care environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide therapy services to adult and geriatric patients Perform orthopedic and neurologic assessments Develop and oversee home exercise programs Educate patients and families Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary care team Experience & Requirements: Minimum 1 year of clinical experience Acute care experience strongly preferred BLS and active state PT license required Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred Weekend availability: 3–6 shifts per contract Work Environment: Average 12 visits per day Diverse caseload: ortho, neuro, post-op, stroke, SCI, TBI, cognitive disorders, and more Adult & geriatric patient population Location: San Angelo, TX If you’re interested, please message me directly or email your resume to discuss next steps.
