Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Odessa, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,674 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in profession License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH, EKG course completion Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Room departments Description: Critical Care RN position available. Candidates must possess ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, and NIH certifications. A total of 6 hours of Stroke education is required, which can be provided if needed. Completion of an EKG course is necessary, and assistance can be provided if required. Candidates must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Room for Critical Care holds. Experience in charge roles is preferred. Patient ratio experience should be 2-3 patients. Previous experience with the Cerner charting system is required. Community hospital experience is preferred. Travel experience is required. Candidates must have skills in arterial line management, chest tube insertion/removal, and BiPAP/CPAP management. Blood product administration and care of ventilated patients are essential skills. Central line care/management and management of chronic/acute renal failure are required. Experience with continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade and sedation is crucial. Candidates should be capable of managing CVA/acute stroke, emergency medications, and external ventricular drains. Experience with FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, GI surgery, and high flow nasal cannula is needed. Compliance with infection prevention practices and interpretation of arterial blood gases is important. Candidates should have skills in phlebotomy, PICC line management, and post-surgical care. Experience in pre/post cardiac catheterization and procedural sedation administration/monitoring is necessary. Knowledge of spinal cord injury management and IV initiation/maintenance is required. Suctioning procedures and ventilator management experience are essential. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS
