Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Odessa, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,054 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/22/2026 About the Position Job Title: L&D RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience Must-Have: Experience in a facility with 100-200 births/month or 200-300 births/month Must-Have: Patient ratio experience of 2 Description: This position is for a night shift Labor and Delivery RN. The role requires providers to possess knowledge in various labor and delivery procedures. The nurse will assist with maternal and newborn care. Candidates must have strong assessment skills and be capable of recognizing abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Responsibilities include the administration of blood and blood products, starting and maintaining IVs, and following protocols for maternal and neonatal emergencies. Experience with telemetry interpretation and breastfeeding support is essential. The nurse will also be responsible for conducting various tests and assessments for obstetrical patients. They will assist with both vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including circulating for C-sections and providing care during postpartum recovery. Multifaceted responsibilities include management of high-risk pregnancies and coordination of care among interdisciplinary teams.
