As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in our patient-focused approach, ensuring we meet the highest standards of care across the post-acute continuum. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams. Administer medications, monitor patient's vital signs, and document treatment in patient files according to compliance. Educate patients and their families on post-treatment home care needs, conditions, and procedures. Manage nursing care for assigned patients, including initiating and maintaining IVs, wound care, and other direct care procedures as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care and outcomes. Adhere to all safety guidelines and uphold all standards of nursing care as set by regulatory bodies and Encompass Health policies. Strong clinical skills with an ability to handle stressful situations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in clinical EMR systems Ability to work independently and part of a team Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment BLS/ACLS Certification Preferably certified in Gerontological or Family Practice (ANCC) or equivalent
