Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Odessa, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,942 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/17/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in the profession License: CNMT or ARRT (N) required Certifications: ARRT (N), CNMT, NMTCB, BLS Must-Have: - CNMT or ARRT (N) Description: Dayshift position available. Candidate must have experience in nuclear medicine. Knowledge of pediatric and adult patient care is required. Experience with various nuclear cardiology procedures is essential. Skills in starting and maintaining IVs are needed. Must be able to handle radioactive materials safely. Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred. Responsibility for performing Muga scans, PET scans, and HIDA scans. Ability to conduct various types of stress tests, including pharmacological as well as exercise/rest observations. Familiarity with isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE) is expected. Knowledge of gastric emptying studies and renal imaging is beneficial.
