Job Description:
Encompass Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled team in
providing exceptional care and support at our patient-focused
healthcare facilities. We are a leading national healthcare
provider, dedicated to high-quality, cost-effective services across
the post-acute continuum. As part of our team, you will play a
crucial role in patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being
of our patients through a compassionate approach and a high level
of clinical expertise. Provide nursing care under the supervision
of a registered nurse with a focus on patient safety and privacy.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare
providers. Monitor patients' health conditions, and report any
changes to the supervising nurse or physician. Maintain accurate
patient records and documentation. Educate patients and their
families on health care procedures, treatment plans, and in
maintaining proper health. Support a range of diagnostic procedures
and assist in patient preparation and after-care as necessary.
Ability to provide high-quality clinical care. Strong communication
and interpersonal skills. Efficient in time management and ability
to prioritize tasks. Knowledge of basic nursing and medical
protocols. Ability to operate medical equipment safely. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current LPN/LVN
license in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certified or ability to obtain certification within the first 3
months of employment.
