Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team, focusing on delivering exceptional respiratory care services to patients in both facility-based and home-based settings. As part of our integrated healthcare services model, you will be crucial in delivering high-quality, cost-effective respiratory care as outlined in individual patient care plans across the post-acute continuum. This position is pivotal in improving patient outcomes and contributing to overall patient satisfaction. Evaluate patient respiratory conditions through diagnostic testing and assessments. Develop and implement tailored respiratory care plans. Operate and maintain various types of respiratory care equipment. Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and maintenance. Collaborate with healthcare teams to adjust treatment plans as necessary. Record and report on patient progress and treatment effectiveness. Proficient in using respiratory care equipment and tools Strong analytical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Respiratory Therapist Licensure in the state of employment Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
