Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare
services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse
(RN) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be pivotal in
delivering exceptional care to patients across our inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and hospice settings. You
will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to foster an
environment of healing and support, ensuring patient care plans are
executed with precision and empathy. This position requires a
passion for health improvement, a commitment to patient-centered
care, and the ability to adapt to evolving healthcare demands.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans for
individual patients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to
ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired
treatment outcomes. Record, monitor, and report symptoms or changes
in patient conditions. Administer medication as prescribed and
oversee patient recovery and rehabilitation. Educate patients and
their families on disease prevention and health maintenance.
Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and
their families. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in
compliance with healthcare protocols. Strong clinical skills in
patient assessment and care planning. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced,
multidisciplinary environment. Proficiency in using healthcare
software and patient management systems. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN)
license in the state of practice. BLS/CPR certification from the
American Heart Association or equivalent.
