Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team to provide patient-focused
care within our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home
health agencies, and hospice agencies. The ideal candidate will
bring expertise in managing and delivering medical care to a
diverse patient population, ensuring the highest standards of
safety and effectiveness. This role is pivotal in developing
patient care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating
with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and
quality of life. Assess patient conditions by monitoring vital
signs, administering medications, and analyzing lab data. Develop
and implement nursing care plans tailored to each patient's needs
in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Educate
patients and their families on disease processes, medical-surgical
procedures, and other pertinent health issues. Supervise and train
LPNs, nursing assistants, and other healthcare personnel. Ensure
compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while
maintaining professional and technical knowledge. Record patients'
medical histories and symptoms, update files and maintain patient
records with high accuracy. Proficiency in administering
medications and providing treatments with precision. Strong
interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with
patients, families, and healthcare staff. Ability to react
decisively and effectively in emergency situations. Capable of
heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and managing the high
physical demands of the job. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
