Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in facility-based and home-based patient care, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing top-quality care to patients in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and potentially in home health settings. As a Registered Nurse, you will be at the forefront of patient care, ensuring that all medical protocols are followed, and providing support and comfort to patients and their families. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions. Operate medical equipment and assist with patient rehabilitation. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in clinical skills with an ability to handle medical equipment. Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS/CPR certification required. ACLS certified preferred.
