Pay: $1,800 to $2,000 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/1/2026 About the Position Job Overview: Title: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Location: Big Spring, TX Start Date: April 1, 2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks (possible extension) Shift: Day shift, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday Hours per week: 40 Job Description: We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join the surgical services team. The CST will assist surgeons and nurses in the operating room by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and supporting surgical procedures to ensure safe and efficient patient care. Responsibilities: Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures Maintain aseptic technique and sterile fields during surgery Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during operations Handle and care for surgical equipment before, during, and after procedures Support patient safety protocols and infection prevention standards Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow Requirements Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred Previous surgical services experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical procedures Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
