Job Description Pyramid Consulting is seeking a Interventional Radiology Technologist for a job in San Angelo, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/27/2026 - Duration: Ongoing - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Staff Interventional Radiologic Technologist, New Grads accepted. Location:San Angelo, TX Compensation & Benefits - Salary: $55,000 – $80,000 (based on experience) - Schedule: Tuesday through Friday 9am- 7pm rotational call (shift negotiable) Key Responsibilities - Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures using fluoroscopy and advanced imaging equipment - Prepare procedure rooms, ensuring all necessary sterile supplies and instruments are available - Maintain strict sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards during all procedures - Position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images - Monitor radiation exposure and follow established radiation safety protocols - Communicate clearly with patients and families, explaining procedures and addressing concerns - Continuously assess patient condition and respond appropriately during procedures - Ensure proper documentation of procedures and imaging results - Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues to appropriate personnel - Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Key Qualifications & Skills - Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and sterile techniques - Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced environments - Excellent patient care and communication skills - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support colleagues and departmental needs Requirements - ARRT (R) certification, (ARRT VI or IR) preferred - BLS - New graduates accepted About Pyramid Consulting Supercharge your career with Pyramid Consulting.
