Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will be responsible for developing personalized care plans aimed at rehabilitating and enhancing patient recovery in both facility-based and home-based settings. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough patient assessments, creating and implementing individualized therapeutic strategies, and collaborating with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient-centric care. Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, be a Licensed Occupational Therapist, and possess 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Develop personalized care plans for patients. Conduct patient assessments to determine therapeutic needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient recovery. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and families on effective home-based care practices.
