Encompass Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will develop and implement personalized treatment plans to support patient recovery and improve communication abilities, ensuring the highest standards of care in alignment with our patient-focused culture. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, actively participate in team meetings, and provide valuable education to patients and their families regarding therapy processes. Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide direct therapy to patients to improve their communication skills. Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapy processes. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient outcomes.
