In this role, you will be responsible for preparing meals in accordance with dietary needs and restrictions, ensuring that all food served aids in patient recovery and overall health. Prepare and cook meals according to prescribed dietary requirements. Ensure sanitary cooking conditions and comply with health and safety standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers to plan meals that accommodate patient dietary needs. Monitor kitchen inventory and manage supplies. Train kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and dietary restrictions. Contribute to the development of new recipes and menus. Proficiency in various cooking methods and techniques. Understanding of nutritional values and dietary restrictions. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ServSafe Food Handler certification required. Certification in Dietary Management (CDM) is a plus.
