In this position, you will be accountable for creating a desirable working environment for our current and prospective employees. This includes assuring our policies are relevant, compliant, and followed by all to create a safe and healthy workplace for our employees. The Director of Human Resources position is visible within the community and embodies Spectrum of Solutions' mission and values.Role and ResponsibilitiesComplianceThe Director of Human Resources will ensure policies and practices are in compliance with state and federal entities, including the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC), the Department of Labor (DOL), the American Disability Act (ADA), the Equal Employment Opportunity Act (EEOC), Texas Health and Human Services (HHS), the Affordable Care Act (ACA), etc.Recruitment
Actively recruit top talent for continued organizational growth and success aligned with Spectrum of Solutions' mission.Systems Management
Maintain organization's human capital management and employee benefits software systems while ensuring employee records are in compliance.Organizational Support
Promotes the rights of all employees and individuals served by Spectrum of Solutions, supervises administrative staff, and models and promotes organizational values and culture.Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
• 5 years experience in Human Resources management role
• Knowledge of employment law, group insurance and retirement benefits administration, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), American Disabilities Act (ADA), Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and Texas Health and Human ServicesBenefits
