Job Description
This position is responsible for working closely with SVP of Industrial Solutions, and the Director of Industrial Chemical, this role will have a key leadership responsibility for the development and execution of the Industrial direct channel polymer component of the strategy. In addition, this role will work as a technical support function and collaborate with the Rockwater technical team and Select frac recycle team to insure best practices of chemistry is applied in frac recycle operations at the local job sites.
The essential job functions include, but are not limited to

  • Work responsibly and take any necessary precautions to protect self and others from injury and health hazards.
  • Actively participates in HSSE meetings and promptly corrects unsafe acts and/or conditions.
  • Owns all aspects of the sales cycle from development of prospect list to closure to insure funnel of quality qualified deals are working within the sales pipeline for industrial polymer direct chemical expansion.
  • As new direct customers are obtained will be responsible for initial account startup and management.
  • Also responsible for staffing plan with adequate financials of qualified water treatment expertise for long term account retention in direct channel.
  • Development of equipment product line needed for polymer feed applications for direct chemical channel development for automated chemical feed.
  • Through market research and voice of the customer meetings, determine which products will yield the highest volumes and margin of polymer sales to industrial markets as well as develop best practices on where to position and price. Initial focus on direct development of the sand washing industry.
  • Will work with SVP Industrial, Director Industrial Sales, to build strategy, needs for other direct polymer sales across all industrial verticals with initial focus on high volume, quality margin, low service applications, industries.
  • Work with the SVP and Rockwater teams to insure customer identified criteria for logistics, execution and billing are in place for each account closed.
  • Work with the collaborative Industrial/RW team to insure proper procedures for setting up new products in the system per processes.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to reach margin targets are aligned as well as determine solutions to improve margins over time.
  • Requires strong commercial skills that can effectively communicate and present to Sr. Executives as well as customer operations internally as well as on customer side in order to launch and build the chemical segment per industrial strategy.
  • Follows the sales process of prospect, qualify, solution discovery, pre close proposal, proposal, close.

    Requirements
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
    • Minimum of 10 years of Industrial water treatment experience with a deep understanding of all water treatment equipment, process flows, control theory and polymer selection for liquid solid separations across all verticals.
    • Requires strong technical skills relative to water treatment and polymer applications including control theory, jar testing, polymer selection, correct feed points and best practices for polymer application.
    • Ability to teach and develop training programs, KPI's, and monitoring programs for customers and Select recycle operations.
      Education, Experience, and/or Certifications
      • Must have either 4 years' experience or BBA, preferred in accounting, financial or statistics
