HAVE A CDL.Job Summary:The Vacuum Truck Operator will operate a
commercial motor vehicle for oilfield clients and/or for company
purposes.This work requires trips across state lines transporting
materials, good and providing services in interstate
commerce.Duties/Responsibilities:
- Delivering or picking up fresh water, brine water, and other
oilfield fluids to carious oilfield customer locations.
- Will need to top off all fluids and ensure the vacuum pump is
running properly, and all valves on tanks are functioning
properly.
- Pull hoses from the hose tray and connect one end to the truck
and put the other end into the pit or connect to a tank to extract
fluid.
- Monitor the amount of fluid extracted and the amount of fluid
the truck is lawfully allowed to haul, and other situations
presented by the site or the customer. Must observe the volume
being loaded while at the rear of the trailer ready to manipulate
valves as needed or ensure there are no leaks or spills.
- Maintain accurate work tickets based on the company's
requirements and the work performed for the customer. Writing all
details of the job which was performed. Turn in paperwork as
frequently as possible to office personnel to ensure timely
processing.
- Inspects and fuels vehicle prior to beginning shift.
- Keep accurate log, pre-trip/post-trip inspections using
provided DVIR, and JSA's. Abide by all FMCSA DOT regulations while
operating a company CMV.
- Alerting appropriate supervisor when mechanical defects are
noted on truck.
- Driver's must maintain Class A CDL throughout their employment
without any restrictions preventing them from being able to cross
state lines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and
capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions. Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of related experience preferred.
- Obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License.Physical
Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of operating heavy machinery.
- Able to work long periods including evenings and weekends when
necessary.
- Must be able to operate machinery in all weather conditions and
terrains.
- Must be able to lift 25+ pounds at a time.Wages based on
