This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Midland, Texas area and will be a long-term contract / temporary to hire position. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk duties will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, and processing checks.Responsibilities- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department- Complete full-cycle A/P- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis- Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time- Carry out additional tasks as assigned- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed- Provide support to internal business partners
