Process Engineer (All Levels Welcome) Where will you work: Onsite (5516 Hobbs Hwy, Carlsbad, NM 88220) The Engineer I, II or III role will lead process improvement efforts, recommend potential upgrades, and provide technical and metallurgical support as needed, targeting improved financial performance of the Carlsbad Potash Business. What you'll do:

• Ensure regulatory, corporate and site safety standards are followed through the implementation of safety and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives to achieve results in alignment with mission objectives. This includes workplace behavior observations, risk assessment, incident investigation and corrective action and cause mapping/RCFA for system improvement.
• Short and long-term planning, scheduling/tracking and execution of design and procurement activities .
• Coordinate with production teams and offer process control support on plant settings for optimal product grade and recovery, plant optimization.
• Monitor Mill performance through sample analysis and visual inspection of the process at key points both hands-on and with support from operational personnel.
• Perform test work to evaluate and correct metallurgical challenges as they arise.
• Enable implementation or incorporation of engineering processes into operations .
• The candidate must be able to perform physical tasks involving lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent stooping, bending, stairs walking, climbing, kneeling, etc. What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, with a major in Chemical, Science, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
  • MS Office products, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project (or similar software) experience.
  • Excellent written and communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management.
  • Must demonstrate ability to influence others; requires strong leadership qualities, and team building.
  • Manage and control project costs and schedule by ensuring that effective project controls are in place and functioning properly.
  • Providing coordination between design, procurement, and/or construction for integration of technical content and schedule activities.
  • 0-8+ years of related experience. (related experience may consist of engineering, industrial project experience, or engineering project management) Benefits Offered by Mosaic:
