General Summary: Purchasing and inventorycontrol for the Maintenance Department and DC Operations to ensure that thefacility runs efficiently.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:1. Generates work orders, accurately, through the MaintenanceManagement System.2. Orders products, accurately, that is cost efficient and durablefor the facility.3. Enters inventory data, accurately, into the MP2 system.4. Purchases parts and supplies, accurately, for various departments.5. Effectively negotiates with vendors and performs cost analysis.6. Oversee inventory efficiently.7. Produces accurate monthly budget reports.8. Follows set safety procedures and guidelines to maximize personalsafety.9. Maintains an organized work area and promotes a safe working environmentwith the Maintenance department.10. Follows all Company policies and procedures.11. Allother duties as assigned.Position Requirements: Team Member willperform shift work and must be willing to work overtime, weekends and/orholidays. Team Member will work in a climate controlled (office) atmosphere;however there may be frequent exposure to the Distribution Center (non-climatecontrolled). Team Member may also beexposed to moving mechanical parts or equipment, fumes and airborne particlesas regulated by OSHA.Minimum Requirements: Education: High School preferred.Experience: Four to six months work experiencepreferably in a purchasing/inventory environment. Job Related Skills: NAComputer Skills: Must be able to demonstrate basic knowledgeof Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows.
