Job Description:
Summary:
Material Handler I is responsible for picking up and receiving
material from vendors, pulling material from pick tickets,
delivering material to production facilities, and performing
inventory transactions in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system with a
high degree of accuracy. This position requires a level of
proficiency in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system to resolve complex
inventory issues presented by internal business partners.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
* Process all material related transactions including inbound,
outbound, and transfers in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system
* Reads and interprets shipping documents and packing lists to
verify items and quantities being shipped or received
* Operate forklift to load/unload and move materials around
facility as required
* Observe company safety policies and adhere to safe material
handling practices
* General cleaning duties around yard and warehouse
* Must be available to work overtime as required
* Assist with cycle counting
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education and/or Experience:
* 3+ months experience in inventory control and warehousing
required
* 1+ year operating a forklift in an outside environment is
preferred
* High school diploma or GED required
* Formal vocational training is preferred
* Forklift certification required
* Must have a valid driver's license, be able to maintain an
acceptable driving record in line with CSI requirements and possess
a clean driving record
* Must be willing and able to drive company vehicle as
necessary

purchasing personnel

* Detail oriented, dependable, self-directed, and a team player
* Strong focus on quality of work product
Language Skills:
* Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English
* English / Spanish bilingual is desirable
* Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from
customers, suppliers, and co-workers
* Ability to write instructions and information on materials
Mathematical Skills:
* Must have the ability to work with large numbers
* Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are required
skills to perform daily assignments
Reasoning Ability:
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete
variables in standardized situations
Computer Skills:
* To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word and possess a
demonstrated proficiency with computerized inventory systems
including Automated Data Collection Systems (Barcode)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
* Must have a valid driver's license, be able to maintain an
acceptable driving record in line with CSI requirements and possess
a clean driving record

Ability to adjust focus.
Pass the required physical examination, including drug and alcohol
screening.
Work Environment:

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts
* The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Weather
conditions range from freezing cold to above 100 degrees in rain,
snow, or blowing dust depending on the season
* The employee is constantly around/using heavy equipment and
adhering to safety policies is required
* Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be utilized
when conducting many of the tasks required of this position
