Lythix, LLC is hiring Journeyman Electricians to help with arc flash data collection and mapping. • Effectively and accurately gathers field data for Arc Flash analyses
• Creates and maintains documentation of short circuit analysis of one-line diagrams for each facility.
• Completes documentation and labeling of electrical panels, switchgear, and disconnects.
• Accurately capture field detailed information necessary to map such as, but not limited to; Utility provider equipment specs, primary/possible voltage, PME Amperage, equipment locations, etc.
• Determine the route of the client's utility lines.
• Determine types of equipment such as; PME, capacitor Bank, voltage regulator, transformer bank, step down/up transformers.
• Determine & identify primary wire sizes
• Ability to understand and interpret equipment name plates information.
• Determine foreign line crossing the clients power line.
• Generate the final KMZ map for review.Minimum Qualifications for positions:
  • Previous experience with arc flash evaluations, NFPA 70E, and electrical safety programs is preferred - all PPE will be provided for this position.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass background screen.
  • Must be able to pass Drug & Alcohol screen.
  • Communication skills should include legible handwriting, knowledge of electrical symbols, and a basic proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ensure accuracy.
  • Proper Care and use of tools, equipment, and instruments.
  • Outside work conditions - good physical condition necessary (Field positions)
  • Must possess industrial oil field electrical experience.
  • Must be a Licensed Electrician (Industrial/Journeyman) or an Electrical Apprentice
  • Knowledge of re-closers operation.Data collection/Mapping occur around live parts operating up to 15kV. Field technicians should have previous experience as an Electrician or Industrial Maintenance Technician. This position travels daily to job sites in the Permian and Delaware Basin. A typical travel week is Monday-Friday with 10+ hour workdays.**Please note, these are full-time positions. No Per-diem will be provided for these positions.
