The Service Quality Lead will be responsible for providing direct support to field-based Operations over multiple Regions. The Service Quality Lead will help plan, facilitate, and sustain process improvement initiatives within Universal. The role will require some travel to conduct audits and lead implementations. This position works under the direction of the Manager, Service Quality. Detailed Description: Identify problems within a process and formulate solutions that eliminate waste and reduce cost
Lead and/or Facilitate Kaizen events, Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and process improvements to drive short-term and long-term business improvements
Leverage Universal best practices across multiple frac spreads to provide consistent operational performance
Conduct on-site audits on Maintenance and Operations processes and procedures to drive compliance and uniformity
Conduct discovery and value-stream mapping (VSM) events on Maintenance/Operations pinpointing and alleviating bottlenecks in workflow
Develop data analytic tools to monitor frac spread performance and drive toward the Company's performance goals.
Mentor field Operations personnel on basic Lean practices and methodologies
Represent the Company and our values with integrity while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all interactions
Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
Perform other related duties as assigned Job Requirements: Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and written report preparation
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a team
Skilled in Microsoft (MS) Office and working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to work under time-sensitive deadlines while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when adversity and multiple initiatives/priorities are encountered
Ability to demonstrate operational business and leadership skills
Strong ability to lead teams in group discussions, problem solving and conflict resolution
Ability to safely navigate work sites with occasional walking, climbing, standing, stepping, etc., during normal operating conditions (day/night, outdoor hot/cold weather) and while utilizing designated personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to travel as needed to other offices and work sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area Demonstrated ability in the following leadership competencies: Builds and Maintains Effective Relationships

Decision Quality Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years' experience in the oil & field industry, with fracing, Service Quality, and/or Continuous Improvement (CI); OR Certificate of Completion from an accredited technical school or High school diploma or GED certificate with 10+ years' experience in the oil & field industry, with fracing, Service Quality, and/or Continuous Improvement (CI)
Must have and maintain valid state-issued driver's license, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company's vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Experience with Data Analytic software (i.e., Spotfire, Power BI, Tableau)
Lean/Six Sigma certified
Experience in a Maintenance or Supply Chain position Additional Details: The Service Delivery Lead must work with an emphasis on individual safety and safety for others, including coworkers and third parties. This position will split time between an office environment and working in a warehouse or field setting, which may require working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiation, and heights.
