well as in the data center space. We are seeking a Maintenance
Technician to join our growing team.The Maintenance Technician is
responsible to maintain the interior and exterior of the data
center facilities, including preventative maintenance, general and
emergency maintenance as well as repairs and custodial
duties.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Perform maintenance
and minor repairs for all buildings and equipmentPerform custodial
duties as requested which may include, but not be limited to, snow
removal, clean, sweep and mop, wash windows, interior walls and
ceilings, empty trash cans and other waste containers, clean and
disinfect washrooms and fixturesPerform routine landscaping on the
grounds (leveling of gravel, grass removal, other debris,
etc.)Paint and fill gaps or crevices, including repair leaking
roofsUndertake light installation, carpentry, and weldingAssist
tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairsIdentify and
report the need for major repairsComplete daily, weekly and monthly
checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and
maintain records of scheduled maintenance proceduresRespond to
emergency maintenance requestsMay be required to move furniture,
equipment, and suppliesPerform air filters frame removal,
installation, removal and installation of air filters, air filters
washing with pressure washerFollow site established housekeeping
rules, both internal and externalRefuse all unsafe work and
immediately report all unsafe conditions and behaviors to their
supervisorReport incidents, injuries and near misses and
participate in the investigative processAssist other teammates when
requiredAttend and participate in toolbox and safety committee
meetings as scheduledComplete all other duties as assigned by
supervisorAdhere to company safety standards and help promote a
safe working environment for office and field employees,
subcontractors, and clientsAdhere to and promote the core values of
WindHQRequirements:Knowledgeable in areas such as, but not limited
to plumbing, HVAC, electrical, welding, painting and
carpentryProven ability to adapt to a variety of environmental
factors and extreme weather conditions while performing operational
requirementsStrong basic math and measurement skillsEnergetic and
self-directed, with effective time management and organizational
skills including the ability to deal with several priorities at the
same timeStrong attention to detail and problem-solving
skillsUnderstand and follow verbal and written directionsStrong
work ethic with demonstrated dedication and reliabilityMust be able
to work as a member of a greater teamAbility to effectively
interact with all levels of management, contractors and
employeesAny additional safety tickets such as Standard First Aid &
CPR will be considered an assetBobcat/skid steer experience and
certification an assetRequired Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMinimum 2
years' experience related to maintenance workAt least High School
Diploma or GED (General Education Development or General Education
Diploma) preferred, University, College or similar is a benefitThis
role is considered a Safety Sensitive Position and may require
additional screeningProof of vaccination (in full) against
COVID-19Must have a means of transportation as most locations are
not accessible with public transportationFlexibility to work a
variety of shifts (shiftwork, nightshift, weekends, and holidays)
requiredMonday to Friday 8hrs shifts, additional overtime hours may
be required and offeredAbility to lift and move heavy materials up
to 40lbs/20KgsComfort with continuous operation of containers at a
noise level of 100 dBaAdherence to local legislation/standards and
WindHQ standards for approved safety boots, gloves and other PPE
