D&H United Fueling Solutions, Inc., a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for energetic, hardworking, experienced Petroleum Service Technician in the Midland, Texas area. The primary duties of a Service Technician are to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment (i.e., fuel dispensers), provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner, and maintain excellent safety standards.Benefits offered:Monthly technician bonusesPaid time offHealth insuranceHealthcare spending or reimbursement accounts such as HSAs or FSAsDental and Vision insuranceOther types of insuranceRetirement benefits or accountsSalary-Financed low interest employee loansResponsibilities:Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher on calls to be performedFollow and abide by D&H United Fueling Solutions-------- service call proceduresRespond to after-hours emergency service requests for "site down" or other priority situations in an on-call rotationMeet response time parameters for repair typesMaintain a company furnished vehicle and inventory of repair partsAdhere to all company safety policies and procedures, reporting any unsafe conditionsCompleting online and class-room training courses, including regular re-certificationsFollow all customer protocols and procedures including customer--------s safety and housekeeping guidelines when performing repairs at customer siteCommunicate with warehouse personnel in order to verify inventory and replenish what is needed on truckQualifications:High school diploma or GED required1-year experience in petroleum related service, will provide trainingBasic understanding of mechanical and electrical systemsTroubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skillsValid driver--------s license with a clean driving recordStrong communication skills and customer relations skillsBasic computer skillsGood work ethicExperience or Certification(s) in one or more of the following (preferred) o Gilbarco Dispenser o Wayne Dispenser o Gasboy Fleet o Passport o Veeder Root o Verifone o Journeyman ElectricianAbility to:Exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior serviceTo frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and work in a high traffic areaWork flexible hoursWork independently and as a member of a teamCreate and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors)Ability to safely operate personal hand toolsAbility to properly use a multi-meterPass a drug test and background checkOther duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the individual for this job.
