Organization Overview:
This position reports to the Associate Vice President of Supply Chain Design & Transformation and supports the Group/Senior Vice Presidents of Manufacturing Networks and Global Supply Chain for assigned platforms and technologies. Global Manufacturing includes over 20 internal sites and 50 external suppliers worldwide, manufacturing and supplying medicine to over 60 million patients. It comprises approximately 10,000 employees, multiple initiatives, and supports Lilly Diabetes and Obesity, Immunology, Neuroscience, Loxo@Lilly, and International businesses.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and communicate the global manufacturing strategy through supply chain network design recommendations, requiring deep expertise in supply chain and manufacturing strategy.
  
• Maintain capacity models for current and pipeline products.
  
• Create global capacity plans, sourcing strategies, resource allocation, and scenario analyses to enhance supply chain resilience.
  
• Support network governance, operational reporting, and related processes.
  
• Lead strategic and business planning, including data collection, analysis, and stakeholder alignment.
  
• Coordinate with manufacturing and development teams on platform impacts on manufacturing strategy and capacity.
  
• Evaluate business development opportunities via due diligence, modeling, and cross-functional collaboration.
  
• Implement transformational projects, capital initiatives, technology transfers, and site changes.
  
• Prepare and present materials for various stakeholders, including executive and board-level audiences.
  
• Collaborate internally and externally within the network and with corporate functions.
  
• Drive digitalization and process optimization for the Manufacturing Strategy team, including automation and learning tools.
  
• Mentor new strategists, lead onboarding, and facilitate strategy learning sessions.
  
• Manage business case orchestration for Board approvals and support strategic exercises.
  
• Represent M&Q in geopolitical and industry forums, collaborating with finance, communications, and legal teams.
  
  Basic Qualifications:
  

• 
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
  
• 10+ years in Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Financial Strategy, or Network Design roles

  • Preferred MBA or relevant business expertise
    
  • Strategic thinking, agility, analytical skills, and complex analysis capabilities
    
  • Experience with digitalization, financial modeling, and scenario tools

  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain, and financial analysis tools
