The selected candidate will sell mechanical seals to existing and new end user customers (aftermarket) in Southeastern New Mexico. The candidate will be responsible for continued improvement in sales coverage and effectiveness, developing seal accounts within this region. The selected candidate will promote mechanical seal products and demonstrate a value proposition to our customers by establishing long-term business relationships. The selected candidate will create a long-lasting competitive advantage for AGI Industries. The successful candidate will be able to look to the future by identifying opportunities, developing marketing plans, and achieving increased sales over time. The position is based in Southeastern New Mexico. Accountabilities:-- Promote, sell and service the products of the AGI Industries in your assigned sales territory consistent with the strategic objectives of the company and the needs of the customer.-- Maintain regular, planned communication with key customers in the territory. Make direct, in-person sales calls. Respond quickly and thoroughly to customers' inquiries.-- Stay engaged and informed about customers' key projects. Demonstrate an understanding of the needs and wants of the customer and AGI Industries to establish win-win relationships that support negotiations.-- Provide additional value to customers through up-to-date technical and hands-on knowledge and expertise of mechanical seal applications. Proactively engage with customers in discussions to resolve their technical challenges. -- Inform customers about the quality and features of our products through the full use of the company's marketing materials. Train customers on mechanical seals and supporting systems.-- Remain current with mechanical seal product training.-- Achieve sales objectives, including bookings and growth.-- Maintain organized records. -- Update TDF as required regarding customer contacts, daily activity, quotes, opportunities, status, actuals, etc. -- Develop territory operational plans and goals supported by accurate forecast of market with the Sales Manager consistent with the objectives of the company and available opportunity of the sales territory.-- Collaborate effectively with the supporting organization of AGI Industries, including the customer service, engineering, and operations departments to ensure quality, on-time delivery to our customers.-- Responsible for timely written reports. Inform Sales Manager of market conditions and other correspondence as necessary to conduct business and marketing efforts.-- Responsible for providing input from the sales territory to support the company strategic planning process.-- Responsible for control and company vehicle maintenance expenses within established budget.-- Responsible for consistent adherence / compliance to all regulatory and / or mandated safety rules, regulations and policies.

-- College Degree and/or 5+yrs. experience -- Knowledge of the design and operational requirements of mechanical seals, and rotating equipment, including pumps and mixers is required.-- Demonstrated successful track record of self-initiated, sustained sales skills highly preferred.-- Must project a strong customer focus and professional presentation.-- Flexible multi-tasker with good follow-through and the ability to meet urgent deadlines. -- Must communicate with positive impact. Skilled at group presentations. Effective writing skills-- Experienced solving problems in a group setting, able to lead a root cause failure analysis and communicate the results.-- Ability to work in a team environment.-- Active driver's license with good driving record.-- Overnight Travel -- 25%-- Some physical activity required (e.g., walking large customer sites, lifting at least 75 lbs.-- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.PI197700770
