Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: San Angelo, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,406 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 5 years of experience preferred; may consider less if strong experience in relevant specialties. License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Charting System Experience: Epic - Required Experience: Trauma Level II Description: The position involves working in a fast-paced operating room environment. The RN will rotate between morning and afternoon shifts. Call and holiday coverage is required. Experience in general, neuro, ortho, trauma, and robotics is preferred. Skills required include the administration of blood products and various surgical procedures. The RN should have experience managing patients in a variety of surgical cases. Team collaboration and effective communication skills are essential. Maintaining patient safety and infection control protocols is crucial. The RN will participate in the preparation and handling of surgical instruments and equipment. Knowledge of the Universal Protocol and emergency response protocols is important.
