to find a qualified OR RN in Midland, Texas, 79701! Job Title:
Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10
hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in OR with general, orthopedic,
neurology, trauma, and ENT experience; pediatric experience
preferred License: Active nursing license required Certifications:
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Flexible scheduling Call
requirements - average 3-6 days in a 28-day cycle Experience with
Cerner charting system preferred Description: The role requires an
Operating Room Registered Nurse with experience in general,
orthopedic, neurology, trauma, and ENT. Pediatric experience is
preferred. The nurse will need to be flexible as the schedule will
vary each week, with no guaranteed set days. Block scheduling is
not an option. Potential shifts include 3x12s or 4x10s with
rotating days off and on-call duties. The patient population will
include adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The nurse will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery,
assisting with procedures, and providing post-operative care. Daily
census will range from 35 to 40 patients. Nurses will participate
in special procedures and utilize a variety of equipment. An
on-site drug screening will be conducted. Please ensure all
appropriate documentation is submitted on time to meet compliance.
Failure to meet documentation requirements may result in assignment
