2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 16 Weeks Shift:
Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
experience required. License: Active RN License required.
Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS,
FHM, NRP, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - Previous charge experience
required. - Patient ratio experience preferred. - Experience with
Cerner charting system preferred. Description: The Registered Nurse
will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulate, and
transition. The nurse will assist with high-risk deliveries and
sterile speculum exams. Responsibilities include labor and delivery
support, including vaginal and cesarean sections. The nurse must
administer medications and manage blood products. Experience with
monitoring fetal heart rates and conducting non-stress tests is
required. The role includes providing pain management and
administration of IV medications. The nurse will support
breastfeeding and provide care for neonates and infants. The
position requires adherence to safety and hygiene protocols,
including infection control. The nurse will participate in training
and education related to labor and delivery practices. Must be
flexible to work holidays, including both holiday eve and day.
