Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated Inpatient Rehab Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in providing exceptional speech and language therapy services in a facility-based setting. As part of our integrated healthcare services network spanning 42 states, the candidate will focus on delivering tailored rehabilitation therapies to patients recovering from various ailments. This role requires a compassionate, skilled communicator who is committed to fostering patient progress through individualized treatment plans. Evaluate patient speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities. Develop and implement well structured, personalized treatment plans. Monitor and document patient progress during the rehabilitation phase. Educate patients and families about communication techniques and strategies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional standards. Strong understanding of speech-language disorders and appropriate therapeutic techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in clinical documentation and reporting. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
